My friend and collegue ,photographer and camera man Martin Adler,also from Västerås,Sweden,who I made a number of war-reportage together with between 1990 and 1995 was shoot to death by an unknown killer in Mogadishu in June 2006.

Martin was one of the best photographers I ever worked with.

1994. Turkey and Kurdistan. The war between Turkish troops and the Kurdish PKK-guerrilla. Afghanistan,the battle between rival mudjahedin forces in capital Kabul. April & May:the genocide in Rwanda between tutsi and hutu.

Liberia, the civil-war and the battle for rebel "capital" Gbarnga.
